Someone to rely on

It’s great to travel, to do interesting, challenging work, and sometimes, just sometimes it gets a bit lonely. That’s where this little guy comes in (plus skype and twitter).

I’d been travelling for five weeks when I came home to find this little fella waiting for me. He was created by Gary Hirsch and the folks at On Your Feet – an awesome group of improvisers. He’s my own personal robot who provides a never-ending supply of compliments – sort of yes anding everything I do. Yay! Everyone needs their own personal cheer squad.

Now I’m on the road again and he travels with me. Along with my trusty tube of Vegemite. It’s sort of a modern version of an amulet. Or a social object – both generate lots of conversations.
