Focus
Here’s an unexpected bonus I’ve discovered from blogging – and most importantly, exploring others’ blogs – focus. I’m rediscovering, or maybe focusing, on what’s really important to me. It’s a fascinating journey. Here’s what’s on my list so far:
– sustainability
– nature and the environment
– design
– learning
– expression
Hi Viv,
I have just started this venture into the world of blogs. A key attractant is the idea that it is better than newspapers for it allows one to listen to those people who have potentially interesting stories for us. I’ve really enjoyed reading yours, hearing of your escapades in Armenia and Uganda and following some of your links. Thankyou. Looking at your list of interests I hope you contnue to publish.
Martin
Thanks Martin – I also find blogs a good way to keep up with what’s happening in the wider world – although while I was overseas I logged on to the Age website to find out what was happening locally. I find blogging a freer from of expression than discussion lists because I’m not wasting anyone’s time by posting – you can choose wether or not to read it – hence my contributions to discussion lists has diminished while my blogging has grown.
