Surf’s Up!
I love arriving home after being away for more than a few days. Today I arrived home from San Francisco, via Sydney, flight delays and a 1.5 hrs drive. It was especially good to arrive home today because it’s my birthday – and this is what was waiting for me! Especially apt given all the surfing metaphors this last week.
May I suggest that you NOT venture into winkipop on this for a wee while! Do you have the matching flippers and wetty?
Thanks for the advice Geoff – I plan to stay well away from Winkipop 🙂 Maybe a small break at Breamlea for starters, and yes I do have flippers and wetty (maybe not matching though)
Belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY! So sorry I was unable to go to OSONOS. I gave myself a full month of no-travel in July!
Thanks – it would have been great to catch up at OSonOS, but I really do understand taking a break from travel. I usually do that in December/January. Pity I’ll miss you in Wellington too. One day… 😉
