This one- or two-day training will equip you to create Insanely Great Slideshow Presentations.
As a facilitator of workshops, I see more presentations than most – and many can be easily improved. After all, it’s all about communicating your message to the audience.
This training is hands-on and uses your own real-life example – a slideshow that you have prepared already or one you have to give soon. We will help you unearth your core messages and prepare slides that support those messages.
Delivered by Viv McWaters and/or Geoff Brown, experienced facilitators and presenters, you will learn about the effect on the audience of good and bad slideshows, how to discover your core messages, how to present those messages in a vibrant and clear way, and where to find images and other media.
We do some of the training off-line and invite you to bring out your lap-tops to actually make some insanely great slideshows – which we then invite you to present to your colleagues.
Importantly, you’ll learn skills that you can use straight away.

I can see that you’re implying that overly technical text and diagrams is not as good as rich visual imagery. But at the same time I get a terrible allergic reaction to the use of stock photos with fake smiles and cliche imagery, so I find your own example a bit off putting. You don’t need to publish this comment, and sorry to be negative — I like the look of what you are doing overall and just read your very valuable reflections on the World Cafe process, thanks!
Hi Adam, Thanks for your comments. I think they are fair enough. I think my more recent slideshows have tried to avoid the cliched imagery. Maybe it’s time to update this one. And I think my training is probably better than my slideshows 🙂 because it’s more about story and narrative and emotion – anything to get away from pages of text!
